La santé est un droit fondamental. Pourtant, au Cameroun comme dans de nombreux pays africains, des milliers de personnes continuent de perdre la vie chaque année faute d’avoir pu accéder à des soins médicaux de base.

Pour certaines familles, une simple consultation médicale ou l’achat de médicaments essentiels représente un coût insurmontable. Cette réalité conduit souvent à des drames humains évitables.

C’est face à ce constat que la Fondation Solidarité Santé a été créée.
Notre ambition est simple mais essentielle : construire un mécanisme de solidarité permettant à chaque citoyen d’avoir accès aux soins de santé de base, indépendamment de sa situation financière.

La Fondation Solidarité Santé s’inscrit dans une dynamique de mobilisation collective afin d’accompagner les efforts du gouvernement camerounais dans la mise en œuvre de l’initiative de Couverture Santé Universelle.

Nous croyons profondément qu’en unissant nos forces — citoyens, institutions, entreprises et partenaires — il est possible de bâtir une société où plus personne ne meurt faute de soins essentiels.
